Live casino: real tables, streamed to the second
In live casino, the result is not calculated by software: a dealer deals cards or spins a real wheel, and the picture reaches you live. It is the closest a screen gets to a gaming floor. This page explains how live tables work, what differs from RNG games and what to check before you sit down. We do not describe any specific operator's lobby.
Play nowHow a live table works
- You join a table and see the dealer and the time left to bet.
- You place virtual chips within the table limits (minimum and maximum stake).
- Betting closes; the round plays out with real cards, wheel or dice.
- The system reads the result and settles bets automatically.
The most common games
| Game | In a few words | What to read in the rules |
|---|---|---|
| Roulette | Bet where the ball lands on a numbered wheel | One zero (European) or two (American) |
| Blackjack | Beat the dealer's total without going over 21 | Number of decks and dealer rules |
| Baccarat | Bet on Player, Banker or Tie | Commission on Banker bets |
| Game shows | Wheels and multipliers with a host | Probability of each segment |
Latency, pace and table limits
A live table depends on your connection. With high latency, the betting window feels shorter, and a dropped connection can leave a bet in progress — the table rules say what happens to it. Pace matters too: a roulette round takes much longer than a slot spin, which lowers the cost per hour at the same stake but invites bigger bets. Table limits vary widely; pick a table whose minimum is comfortable for your budget.
Etiquette and chat
Many tables have chat with the dealer. Treat it as you would a real floor. The dealer does not decide results and cannot resolve account issues — those go to the operator's customer support.
A live table outside your regulator's reach
The studio streaming a table may serve many sites. What separates a licensed site from an unlicensed one is not the picture but the framework: on the first, the operator answers to a regulator, typically must offer deposit limits and is covered by self-exclusion schemes. A live table on an unlicensed site sits outside those protections, however real the dealer is.
