About us: an independent guide, not an operator

solverdecasino.net is an information project. We are not Solverde, we do not work for Solverde and we do not run any gambling. We exist to answer a practical question: how does a player tell a licensed casino site from an unlicensed one before trusting it with personal data and money?

Who we are

The guide is written and reviewed by Leonor Bettencourt, who signs the reviews and answers for the method. We work from public sources — above all regulators' registers — and from what each operator publishes on its own pages. When a piece of information cannot be confirmed in a source the reader can also open, we do not present it as fact.

How we are funded

Some links on this site are sponsored: they lead to a partner operator, which is not Solverde, and we earn a commission when a reader registers through them. Those links are marked as sponsored, and the editorial rule is simple — the commission does not change what we write about licences. Details in the affiliate disclosure.

Who owns the casino? Finding the operator

The brand on the screen is not always the company running the games. To find out who owns an online casino — the entity that answers to the regulator — look in the regulator's register of licensed operators: it names the company holding the licence and the domain it covers. The operator's footer usually repeats this, but the footer is written by the operator; the register is written by the regulator.

Licences: what "regulated" means

A licence comes from a specific regulator and applies to a specific market. Many sites display licences from Malta (MGA), the UK (UKGC) or Curaçao. These are different regulators with their own rules. A licence from one of them does not put a site in another country's register, and a foreign licence number in a footer does not replace checking the domain in the register of the country you play from. For example, a player in Portugal checks the SRIJ list.

What you seeWhat it proves
Licence number in the footerThat the operator claims a licence — check which one, and from where
A foreign regulator's logoNothing about your own country's regulator
A country-code domainLittle: anyone can register one
The exact domain in your regulator's registerThat the site is a licensed casino in your market

Frequently asked questions

Is solverdecasino.net legit?
We are a guide, not a casino: we hold no one's money and no gambling data. The trust we ask for is limited to what we write, and every claim we make about licences can be checked in the regulator's register.
Is it safe to play on the site the buttons lead to?
The buttons lead to a partner operator, which is not Solverde. Before depositing, check whether that operator's domain appears in your regulator's licence list; that check is your guarantee, not our recommendation.
Is online gambling legal where I live?
It depends on your country's law. Where gambling is regulated, the regulator usually publishes a list of licensed operators and domains. Look up the exact domain there before registering.
Is the casino licensed? Where is the licence number?
Operators usually show licence details in the site footer. That text is written by the operator; the independent confirmation is the regulator's register, which names the licence holder and the domain.
